After three straight losses, including yesterday's series opener here in Pittsburgh by a score of 9-4, we like the Padres to bounce back here on Wednesday. Note that SD is 7-4 still in its last 11 in trying to avenge a road loss as a favorite vs. an opponent. Pittsburgh has been terrible of late, and an immediate return to mediocrity seems imminent. The starters are a "wash" in this one, with Blake Snell at 4-6 with a 3.22 ERA for San Diego, while Mitch Keller is 8-3 with a 3.45 ERA for the Pirates. But SD responds here after three straight losses in our opinion; consider SD on Wednesday night!
