Both teams have played to several lower-scoring games of late, but we expect those trends to end this evening. Philly has seen teh total go "under" in three straight. The Phillies have now won four in a row. Note though that Philadelphia has seen the total go "over" the number in four of its last five after playing to three or more straight "unders" in a row. Houston has now seen the total go "under" in four straight after the back-to-back losses to open this series. However, note that Houston has seen the total go "over" the number in eight of its last 12 in trying to avenge two or more straight losses vs. an opponent. Bailey Falter is 0-4 with a 4.50 ERA for the Phillies, while Jose Urquidy is 1-2 with a 5.64 ERA for the Astros. Pretty pedestrian numbers so far. All signs point to this total flying "over" the number sooner, rather than later!
