I think that Austin Gomber and the home side could/should in fact be much larger favorites in this one. The visitors go with Trevor Williams, who is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA after allowing four runs over five innings in a 6-2 loss to Tampa Bay in his opener. Note that Williams was 0-4 with a 4.10 ERA on the road last season. The Rockies' Gomber is 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA after allowing three runs over six innings in a tight 3-1 loss to San Diego. Considering how weak this Nationals' bullpen is, I feel Gomber for sure should be favored by more at home here; great value on Colorado!
