While I do think an outright win is possible, I'm going to recommend grabbing the home side on the runline option. The A's were swpet by the Yanks in New YOrk in late June, and this is the opener of a 4-game set. James Kaprielian is 3-7 with a 4.29 ERA for the A's, and his team enters with a bit of of momentum with a 3-2, 10-inning win over Miami on Wednesday. Jameson Taillon is 11-4 with a 4.00 ERA for the Yanks. He's never lost to Oakland over 3 starts vs. it, going 1-0 despite a ballooned 6.75 ERA. Taillon has taken a step back from his elite level of play at the start of the season and I say the door is now open for Kaprielian to match him inning for inning; consider Oakland on the runline option!
