I think the home side keeps the momentum rolling here as it looks to split this 4-game series with The Evil Empire. I'll call these starting pitchers a "wash," as Jameson Taillon is 9-2 with a 3.63 ERA for the Yankees, while Nick Pivetta is 8-6 with a 3.68 ERA for the Red Sox. Taillon is coming off consecutive shaky outings (allowing 5 runs in his last start), while Pivetta also comes in off a "dud," allowing 7 runs over 6 innings. Divisional contests are always the most important and they almost always "mean more" to the home side. Look for Boston to, at the very least, take this one right down to the wire; the play is the Red Sox on the runline option!
