I like San Francisco to finally break its 6 game slide tonight. That includes dropping the first 2 of this series (note though that San Fran is still 7-3 in its last 10 in trying to revenge 2 or more straight road losses against an opponent.) Arizona has been playing a bit better of late, but I still believe that tonight's starting pitchers are evenly matched. The Giants go with Alex Cobb, who is 3-3 with a 4.59 ERA, while Arizona counters with Merril Kelly, who is 7-5 with a 3.46 ERA. I like Cobb to match Kelly inning for inning and I expect the "hungrier" team in this fight to find a way to snap the slide; consider San Francisco on Wednesday night!
