We had the Under in Philadelphia’s last game, which they lost 120-85 to Utah. Improving upon that embarrassing performance is the goal tonight for the 76ers, but they can only do so much with so many players out. Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Danny Green and Matisse Thybulle are among those out for Thursday’s visit to Denver. We will look to cash the Under yet again. The Nuggets have been incredibly good defensively over the first month of the season. They are #1 in the NBA, giving up only 98.9 points/game. Before losing in Dallas the other night, they’d held five straight opponents under the century mark. When the Nuggets are favored this season, the Under is 7-1. The game vs. Dallas was only the fourth time Denver allowed an opponent to score more than 100 and just the second time allowing more than 108. With the skeleton crew that Philly is trotting out tonight, scoring 100 is going to be difficult. We don’t think Denver will score a ton of points here either. Play on UNDER
