While the Senators have lost three in a row, the Stars have dropped two straight. But what’s really interesting about the two teams is the combined Under record. Between the two of them, they have played 13 games this year and 12 of those have stayed Under. The one Over came from Ottawa as they let seven goals in their last game. That was in Washington four days ago. You’ve got to think that the “worm will turn” and we’re destined to have an Over here. The Dallas power play is just 3 for 18, so that’s going to improve. Ottawa is no penalty killing juggernaut. They are in the bottom third of the league when shorthanded. We’re basically betting on the “just due” factor tonight as an Over is bound to hit.
