The Reds are one of the higher scoring NL teams, so with the DH in play here in Kansas City it stands to reason they will have no trouble scoring runs off Royals pitching. Now Cincy has been winning in relatively low-scoring fashion recently. They’ve had to put no more than three runs on the board in each of the last three wins. But tonight they’re up against Mike Minor, who has an 8.64 ERA and 1.92 WHIP in his last three starts. Minor gave up five runs to Boston in his last start. That was after giving up nine to Texas. The Over is 6-2 in all Minor home starts this year. But also with poor numbers of late is Reds starter Gutierrez. He has a 8.22 ERA and 1.89 WHIP in his last three starts. He just gave up six runs to San Diego his last time out. The Royals had scored a combined 13 runs the previous two days before losing 6-2 Sunday. They are giving up 5.1 runs/game for the year. Meanwhile, on average, Reds’ games are already the second highest scoring in the league (trailing only the Angels). Play on OVER
