3-GAME MLB SUPER DESTRUCTION PASS
(MLB) Pittsburgh vs. Detroit,
Money Line: -115.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Push
The Tigers are finally back home following a 10-game road trip. They were swept in Oakland over the weekend, but before that took all three games in Houston. It doesn’t get much more inconsistent than that, but tonight should mark a return to the win column as they host the Pirates. This marks the first time all season that Detroit is favored on the money line and it’s for good reason. Pittsburgh is expected to finish with the worst record in baseball this season. While off to a respectable 7-9 start so far, that’s unlikely to last. They are just 3-6 on the road so far (two of the wins coming in the last series) and 44-76 in road games since 2019. They face Michael Fulmer tonight and he is off a strong first start to the season where he gave up two runs and three hits. Fulmer has faced Pittsburgh twice previous to this and his ERA in those games was 0.64. Tyler Anderson makes the start for the Bucs and he too is off his first win of the season. But he allowed 10 hits in 5 ⅓ innings the outing before that and is now pitching in an American League park against a lineup where the pitcher doesn’t have to come up to bat. The Pirates are 5-21 their last 26 games in Interleague play! Play on Detroit
