This is a 10* on UNDER
Alabama rallied from 15 down to defeat Tennessee in the semifinals. That was a much more difficult endeavor than the quarterfinals when the Crimson Tide blew past Mississippi State 85-48. Today, it’s a bit of a surprise that they face LSU in the SEC Tournament Final. The Tigers have won a couple close games in this tourney, 76-73 over Ole Miss and 78-71 over Arkansas. In yesterday’s upset, they held the second-seeded Razorbacks to 11 points below their season average and to just 6 of 26 from three-point range. Averaging more than 80 points/game, LSU is one of the top offensive teams in the country, but here they run into a team that happens to be #1 in the country in defensive efficiency. Bama really “gave it” to LSU in both regular season games, winning by 30 and 18. In the 30-point rout, they scored 105 points. That won’t happen today. The Under is 5-1 in the Tide’s past six games. The second time these teams played this year, the final score ended up being 78-60 and while it may not wind up as lopsided this time, that’s the number of total points we’re looking for here.
