USC has looked good so far. Their only loss was to UConn in a de facto road game. They bounced back from that singular defeat to topple UC Irvine on Tuesday, 91-56, to move to 4-1 on the year. We had the Over in the UC Irvine game, which saw the Trojans shoot a blistering 51.6% from the field. It was their 4th game this season shooting better than 50%. Equally impressive has been their defense, which has held four straight opponents to a FG% below 35.0! Due to COVID, Stanford has played just once in the 11 days since the Maui Invitational. That was against North Carolina A&T, an easy 78-46 win last Sunday. The Cardinal didn’t shoot particularly well in that game, instead relying on their defense shutting down a weak opponent. That won’t be the case here as USC is more battle-tested and looks like the better team. Given that this is a home game, the Trojans should certainly be laying more at the betting window. All four wins have been by at least eight points. Stanford has already lost to North Carolina and Indiana. Play on USC
