What looks to be a battle of Eastern Conference heavyweights goes down tonight in Tampa where the Lightning will host the red hot Flyers. It wasn't that long ago that the Lightning were the hottest team in the league. They put together a franchise-record 11-game win streak from Jan 29th to Feb 17th. Before that they also had a 10-game win streak in early January. But the Flyers have now taken the mantle as the NHL's hottest team by winning nine straight from Feb 18th to March 7th. The interesting thing is that they just lost 2-0 to Boston and that hurt the Lightning because the Bruins are the team they are chasing in the Atlantic. Tampa Bay hasn't helped itself by losing two in a row, but we look for them to get it going tonight. Those two losses were on the road. The numbers at home are very impressive for the Lightning while the Flyers - despite all the recent success - still have a losing road record. Tampa Bay is 6-1 this season after scoring 1 goal or less in its last game. They were beaten 2-1 in Toronto on Tuesday. Play on TAMPA BAY
