The NBA's Western Conference can seemingly be broken down into four tiers. The Lakers, who seem destined to finish with the best record, sit atop their own private tier. Then teams #2-#7 are tightly knit, all within five games of each other. The third tier is for the 8th and final playoff spot and includes Memphis, San Antonio, Phoenix and New Orleans. We'd technically put Sacramento in the 4th tier, which is the teams that are out of it. However, maybe that's not fair. They are only three games back of ninth place. Memphis, who is in 8th, seems overrated right now and the four game lead they have over ninth place doesn't accurately reflect where they truly are in relation to most of the teams below them. Matter of fact, the Grizzlies have a -1.9 point differential. The Kings are -2.9. We find it hard to believe Sacramento shouldn't be the favorite tonight. They beat Memphis here last month and were 4 point favorites going into that game. The Grizzlies have gotten hot since, but still have a losing road record. Play on SACRAMENTO
