Vancouver is fighting to hold onto the top spot in the Pacific Division, which they lead by one point over Edmonton and Vegas. Two other teams are within four points. Nashville is just trying to get into playoff position as they are four points back of the Wild Card. While it's not a huge gap between the teams when it comes to points, there's no reason Nashville should be favored in this one. The Canucks are a very solid 17-6-3 at home and they've already beaten Nashville twice this year. Now the Canucks are on a four-game losing streak and just got blasted by Calgary (6-2!) Saturday night. But the other three losses all came on the road. This is the spot where they rise up. The Predators find themselves playing a fourth straight road game in Western Canada, in a seven-day span. The Canucks score 3.6 goals/game at home while giving up only 2.7. They'd won nine straight home games prior to Saturday's loss and this four-game losing streak of theirs matches a season-worst.
