Portland has not won since Christmas, losing five in a row and they've failed to cover the spread in all five. Not even a visit to New York to play the 10-win Knicks could bring about victory as the Blazers lost that game 117-93 as a four-point favorite. We say "enough is enough" and the losing streak ends tonight in Washington. Currently, the Wizards are trotting out perhaps the worst lineup in the league. Playing extremely short-handed, the Wiz have an injury list that's about as long as their rotation right now. Bradly Beal may or may not play here. That's in addition to five players who are out indefinitely. They just lost by 21 at home to Orlando on New Year's Day. Giving up 122 points to the lowest scoring team in the NBA (Magic is really bad). Whether healthy or not, the Wizards have consistently struggled on defense. They allow 121.0 points/game, easily the most in the league. Portland's starting backcourt of Lillard and McCollum both shot poorly last game (combined 11 of 36), but tonight they are facing an opponent that should allow for a complete return to form.
