Should be an easy two points for the Capitals this evening. They are playing the Devils, who just traded Taylor Hall and are at the opposite end of the division. Washington leads the Metro with 53 points. New Jersey is last with 27. Keep in mind we've only played 30-something games. By the end of the season, the points gap between these teams should be among the largest in the league. Washington isn't going to fool around tonight either. They've had three days off since being blanked by Columbus, 3-0. That was just the second loss in the last 10 games. Both were against the Blue Jackets. New Jersey, which has won back to back games for just the fourth time all season, hasn't won three in a row in almost a full calendar year.
