The problem then obviously resides at the other end of the ice. Among Western Conference teams, only Anaheim has scored fewer goals. Sure enough, the last five Dallas games have all stayed Under the total. Tonight is a matchup with another underachieving team, Tampa Bay, who has gone from a record setting regular season last year to mediocrity this year. Right now, the Lightning wouldn't even be a playoff team, even though they have a goal differential that says they should be one. They still score lots of goals at home (3.9 per game) but they actually needed overtime to get by Ottawa. Look for this game to be played on "Dallas terms," meaning it'll be low-scoring.
