Before the season, there was a lot of chatter about how good Vegas might be and so far that chatter seems pretty well justified. The Golden Knights opened their season by sweeping a home and home with San Jose. But then they lost on home ice to Boston 4-3 on Tuesday night. That's a good Bruins team though. There won't be too many visitors that strong showing up at T-Mobile Arena this season. Let us not forget that Vegas has gone 54-23-7 in regular season home games during their short existence. But even though tonight's game is on the road, Arizona is not a team they ought to be too concerned about. The Coyotes are 0-2 and have scored only one goal on the season. Improved last season, the 'Yotes may very well take a "step back" this year. Vegas is averaging four goals/game, so it's likely they'll simply have too much offense for the home team to keep up here.
