Things couldn't have gone much worse for the Rangers last night as they were beaten and battered to the tune of a 19-4 loss by Toronto. That was also a real "highlight" in what has been a lost season for the Blue Jays. Don't expect the good times to last long however as today they go with Thomas Pannone, who has been quite bad throughout 2019. Pannone has an 11.03 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in his six starts, which have resulted in a 1-5 record for Toronto. Even worse is that his one start at home saw him give up seven runs in just 2 2/3 innings. That happened to be his last start, which was against the Yankees. Texas might not be the Yankees, but they do have Lance Lynn pitching Tuesday. Lynn has turned in three straight great starts, allowing just five runs (two unearned) in 20 innings of work. Furthermore, he's struck out 70 batters in his last eight starts.
