10* Play on OVER St. Louis-San Diego

St. Louis and San Diego both got Thursday off as they get set to play three games on the West Coast this weekend. This was because each just got done playing a two-game Interleague series. Those series went very differently. The Cardinals lost both games (at home) to Oakland while the Padres won twice at Baltimore. St. Louis was actually shutout in its last game, but should fare better offensively tonight. Padres starter Eric Lauer has been struggling a bit of late as he's lost three straight outings. He faced the Cardinals twice last year and ended up with a 9.00 ERA. Michael Wacha starts for the Cards and is going to have his work cut out for him against a Padres lineup that has scored 28 runs its last three games. His last time starting on the road, he gave up six runs in four innings. The St. Louis lineup should "wake up" tonight and San Diego's should keep rolling. The Over is 4-1 the previous five times Wacha has started against the Padres. Play OVER St. Louis-San Diego
