Minnesota's somewhat improbable start to the season has continued in this series as they'll be looking to finish a sweep of the Angels Wednesday night. They've won 3-1 and 8-3 so far and given our pitching matchup for tonight, it definitely looks like the Twins are being undervalued yet again. They are #1 in net units (by a lot) at +16.0. Martin Perez will get the baseball and he's given the Twins some shockingly good performances so far. Perez enters this game at 5-1 with a 2.01 ERA and 1.05 WHIP in seven starts. Six of those seven starts have gone Under. He's allowed 1 or 0 runs in four of his last five. So there should be no problem limiting an Angels lineup that has scored all of five runs in the last three games. But don't be surprised when the Twins don't score that many either. They are averaging 6.6 runs/game on the road so far, which is basically impossible to keep up. The two games before yesterday saw them held to seven runs total.
