This is an 8* play UNDER San Francisco-Colorado

All of a sudden Giants games have become high scoring as the last five have all gone Over the total. Now some of that is playing here in Coors Field. The first two games of this series have resulted in final scores of 12-4 and 14-4 with the Rockies winning the opener and the Giants last night. But we look for that scoring to come to a screeching halt tonight. The Rockies are 0-3 this year after allowing 10 runs in their previous game. They've gone Over in six straight games entering this evening, but have Jon Gray on the mound. Gray is coming off back to back rough starts, but both were on the road. The three previous saw him give up just two runs total in 19 2/3 innings. San Francisco's offense remains one of the very worst in the sport as they rank 25th in runs, 27th in batting average and 28th in OPS. Maybe there is reason not to expect much from tonight's starter Derek Holland, but then again he'd pitched well before one bad inning got him in his start (vs. the Yankees). The Under had been 13-1-1 the previous 15 meetings between the teams before this series. It's still 26-11-2 when San Francisco comes off a game where they scored five or more runs.
