Jacob deGrom is back on the hill Wednesday for the Mets and they could really use a vintage performance from the reigning Cy Young winner. After starting the year with 13 scoreless innings, deGrom has struggled his last three times out as he continues to battle through an elbow injury. Injured elbow or not, deGrom should pitch well quite well here against what has consistently been one of the worst performing lineups in all of baseball. The Reds are hitting just .213, which is last among the 30 teams. Take away a couple of big games where they scored 14 and 12 runs and Cincy's offensive numbers dwindle even further. It was a 4-3 Mets win last night. With deGrom on the hill Wednesday, they should win again. The Mets average a solid 5.2 runs/game and should do well against Anthony DeSclafani, who is 0-3 with a 9.00 ERA lifetime against them. Play on NY METS
