The Islanders swept the Penguins in the first round and allowed just six goals in the entire series. Carolina had some ugly defensive games in the Washington series, but did a great job at limiting shots. The Capitals averaged just 27.7 shots per game, which is a low number and should serve Hurricanes goalie Petr Mrazek well moving forward. As for Islanders goalie Robin Lehner, he posted a .956 save percentage vs. the Penguins. He has been a big reason why the Islanders allowed the fewest number of goals in the league this season.
