While it was Seattle that came into this series on a six-game losing streak, now the Angels have dropped six in a row. The Mariners' surprising start seemed destined to be "in reverse" after they were swept at home by the Astros and Indians, but a visit to the City of Angels has netted them three straight wins. They've played a few more games than everyone else, so while they've scored the most runs, they also happen to have allowed the 4th most runs. We don't see them finishing off the sweep Sunday. Not only is sweeping a four-game series on the road hard to do, but the M's 11-1 road record is going to be difficult to maintain moving forward. The number of runs they are allowing per game is a troubling sign. The Angels might be 0-5 against the Mariners this season, but three of those losses have been by one run. Mike Leake has a 3-1 team start record, but individual numbers leave a lot to be desired. Starting pitching has not been a strength for the Angels, but look for Jaime Barria to deliver in a big spot.
