The Sabres were dealt a 3-1 loss last night in New Jersey, their 12th consecutive loss on the road. It's the club's longest road losing streak in four years and it's played a significant role in the team already being eliminated from playoff contention. Back when they were winning 10 in a row in November, Sabres fans could not have fathomed such an ugly end to this season. But tonight is as good a chance as any to snap this losing streak as the Sabres are in Ottawa. The Senators have the fewest points in the league and have given up the most goals. Still, Buffalo can't be too confident after having given up 26 goals itself the last six games. If there was one thing to "like" about last night's game, it was that the Sabres had 46 shots on goal. So they're still trying. We like their chances to slip plenty of goals past Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson, who has been terrible in two previous starts vs. Buffalo this season (4.05 GAA).
