German Marquez has not surprisingly been better on the road than at home for the Rockies, but we still think that he's in well over his head here. Marquez (9-9, 4.69 ERA) gave up two runs over seven innings in a no-decision to Milwaukee on Friday. As mentioned off the top, Marquez has been better on the road (5-3, 3.09) than at home (4-6, 6.42), but note that the Rockies are still just 1-5 in their last six inter-league road games as an underdog in the -150 to -200 range. Justin Verlander (11-7, 2.50) gets the nod for the Astros and he comes in off a gem against the Dodgers on Friday, giving up one run off four hits with one walk while striking out 14 over eight innings. It was the fifth time in his last six trips to the mound in which he's allowed two or fewer runs. We're banking on a beatdown from start to finish, lay the price with confidence, play on the ASTROS.
