We think it's a great time to pull the trigger on the underdog. The Angels go with Tyler Skaggs (8-7, 3.34 ERA) who comes off a brutal showing against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, giving up ten runs off eight hits over 3.1 innings. Skaggs though has been rock solid overall this year so we're not reading too much into one crummy outing. Note that previous to that he'd given up just 11 earned runs over eight combined starts (note that he's 5-3 with a 3.43 ERA on the road as well.) The Indians go with rookie Shane Bieber (5-2, 4.73) who gave up four runs off six hits with two walks over 6.1 innings in a fortunate no-decision to the Twins on Monday. In his previous start he was shelled for seven runs over just 1.2 innings and we think his regression continues against this potent Angels' line-up. Overall great value; play on the ANGELS.
