We think Reid Detmers and the Angels are worth the price of admission here. Chicago is just 14-25 on the road, while LA is 20-16 at home. The White Sox just took two of three at home to Boston, but now back on the road, we're expecting a predictable letdown. LA hasn't been playing its best over the last two weeks, and it just lost two of three at Colorado. A date here at home vs. the Sox is just the doctor ordered in our estimation though. Dylan Cease is 3-3 with a 4.22 ERA for Chicago, while Detmers is 1-5 with a 4.02 ERA for the home side. They're a "wash" for all intents and purposes, although we give a slight nod to Detmers here at home. And ultimatley, we believe that the "home field advantage" will prove to be the differnece-maker this starting pitching matchup; consider LA on Monday night!
