Ultimately we feel that Jose Berrios and the hard-hitting visiting side have much more than just a "punchers chance" in this one. Berrios (3-3, 3.98 ERA, 0.98 WHIP) comes in off a dud against the White Sox on Friday, giving up four runs off six hits while striking out two over six innings. Berrios will look to continue to "right the ship" tonight, note that he had a solid 3.97 ERA in all "night" games a year ago. The home side counters with Garrett Richards (4-1, 3.93) who bounced back from getting blasted for five earned runs over 1.2 innings to the Yanks in his previous start, to give up no runs over 6.2 innings while stricken gout eight over the Mariners on Friday. We think these hurlers are evenly matched. Note though that Minnesota is already 8-6 (+2 units) this year following a victory, while LA is still just 8-10 (-3.2 units) at home. Play on the TWINS.
