Off consecutive inter league losses to the Diamondbacks, we're expecting Dallas Keuchel and the defending champs to bounce back in what we believe to be a very favorable matchup. Keuchel (1-5, 3.98 ERA) took another loss despite a decent outing by giving up three runs off six hits over seven innings while striking out five against the Yanks on Wednesday. To go along with his solid 3.98 ERA, Keuchel also sports a better than average 33:12 K:BB over 43 innings of work. Keuchel was 14-5 with a 2.90 ERA last season, including 8-2 with a 3.53 ERA on the road. The A's counter with Brett Andeson (0-0, 2.84) who gave up two runs off five hits and a walk with four K's over six innings in a no-decision in his season debut on Wednesday against the Mariners. Anderson looked decent against the light-hitting M's, but we're not convinced that the rust has been shaken off completely. Note that Houston is still 101-68 against the division the last two seasons, while Oakland is just 70-105 in the same position/span. This one has "blowout" written all over it.
