The Braves hand the ball to Sean Newcomb (1-1, 4.23 ERA), who was rocked for four runs over six innings in a fortunate no-decision against the Reds on Thursday. Note that he was just 3-7 with a 4.69 ERA in all night games last year. The home side counters with ace Noah Syndergaard (2-0, 2.86) who gave up one earned run off six hits while walking none and striking out seven over 7.1 innings against the Cardinals on Thursday. It was his longest start of the season and we expect the flame-throwing right hander to build off it. This line could/should be even larger. Lay the price, play on the METS.
