We like the Astros to build off their 11-0 win yesterday. The visitors hand the ball to Trevor Cahill (1-0, 2.25 ERA) who gave up three runs off four hits and two walks over five innings in a no-decision against Texas on Monday. Cahill has looked sharp in the early going, but regression in this tough matchup seems imminent to us. The home side counters with Gerrit Cole (2-1, 1.29) who gave up two runs off four hits and two walks with eight K's over sven frames in an unfortunate loss to the Angels on Monday. It was the fifth straight game in which Cole has completed the seventh and to go along with his 1.28 ERA he also owns an elite 6.1 K/BB. We're banking on Cole outlasting his counterpart and for HOUSTON to find a way to get the job done at the end of the afternoon.
