5-game report
(MLB) Detroit vs. Pittsburgh,
Money Line: 188.00 Detroit (Away)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the Detroit Tigers.

After yesterday's cancellation, these teams are scheduled to play a double-header on Wednesday and this is the second game. We think that Matt Boyd offers great value to score the upset here. Boyd (0-1, 1.40 ERA) will benefit from an extra days rest here. Over 19.1 innings Boy had posted a 1.40 ERA and a minuscule 0.67 WHIP to go along with 11 K's. Boyd had a fantastic spring and there's no reason not to think that the hard-throwing southpaw won't be able to keep that consistency rolling here against the anemic Pirates. The home side counters with Chad Kuhl (2-1, 4.57) who gave up one run while striking out four over six innings in a victory over Colorado on Wednesday. It was Kuhl's first quality start of the year. To go along with his unimpressive 4.57 ERA, Kuhl also sports a pedestrian 17:7 K:BB over 21.2 innings of work. The Tigers have been getting production at the plate, while the Pirates continue to struggle. Great value, play on DETROIT.
