This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER between the LA Kings and the Las Vegas Knights.
The Knights roared out to a 1-0 lead in the first three minutes of Game 1 and that would be the final score once it was all said and done. LA is known for its defensive prowess, especially in the playoffs, but Vegas is best known for its explosive offense. The Knights became the World's best expansion team in all sports history this year and they didn't disappoint in Game 1. Las Vegas easily adapted the Kings "trapping" style and after getting the lead, it was able to shut down their already offensively challenged opponent. The Kings can clearly ill afford to sit back and let the action come to them, they're going to have to try and take back the momentum and get some pucks on net. This is going to cause a much more wide open affair in Game 2. Note that LA has seen the total go OVER the number in all three road games its played in this year where the total in the contest was set at five or less, while Vegas has seen the total go OVER the number in seven of 12 this season after scoring one goal or less in its previous contest. We're expecting each team to push the pace and for this one to fly OVER sooner than later.
