The victory snapped a five-game skid for the Oilers, who will miss the playoffs, but who will none-the-less be motivated here to send the fans off with a victory in the regular season finale. Both teams have been a disaster this year, but note that Vancouver is a horrible 9-19 (-7.8 units) against the division, while Edmonton is 15-13 (+2.8 units) against divisional foes.
