Both teams come in hot. The Sharks had their eight game win streak snapped last time out in a 3-2 OT loss to St. Louis. Since acquiring Evander Kane from the Sabres, San Jose has been on quite the tear and there's no reason to think it won't be able to bounce back here. Martin Jones has been sharp in net for the visitors. Pekka Rinne has been elite all year for the Predators, but San Jose plays with the added motivation today after getting spaced 7-1 by Nashville a couple of weeks ago. This is a tough two-game stretch for the Sharks, with a game at Vegas up next. Nashville though could easily be caught "looking ahead" here to its game against Buffalo at home on Saturday night.
