New York saw the total go OVER the number in seven straight games, before "pushing" the last two. Most recently the Rangers fell 4-2 to these very Capitals at home on Monday. Washington scored the 6-4 road victory in Montreal previous to that, but with the shift in venue back home, we're expecting the Capitals to clamp down defensively this evening. Note as well that New York has seen the total go UNDER the number in four of its last six road games when the total is set at six or higher, while Washington has seen the total go UNDER in six of eight home games under the same conditions. While they played to a higher-scoring affair on Monday, all signs now finally point to a lower-scoring UNDER on Wednesday night.
