This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the UNDER between the Dallas Stars and the Washington Capitals.
Both teams have played to some higher-scoring affairs of late, but we feel that the value has swung the other way here. Dallas is in a tailspin right now and it needs to stop the slide as the Stars come to the nation's capital having lost eight of their last ten, including five straight. Dallas is out to avenge a 4-3 OT loss at home to the Capitals in mid December as well. Washington's four game win streak was snapped in a 6-3 loss at Philadelphia last time out, but note that it's seen the total go UNDER the number in six of ten already this year after playing to three or more consecutive OVERs, while Dallas has seen the total go UNDER the number in 15 of 23 this season after allowing four goals or more in its previous contest. We're expecting this one to sneak UNDER once it's all said and done.
