As note that Golden State has seen the total go UNDER the number in 11 of 19 non-conference games and in ten of 18 after three or more consecutive SU victories (the Warriors do indeed look ready for a letdown here after beating Eastern Conference heavyweights Boston and Cleveland most recently), while Chicago has seen the total go UNDER the number in interestingly 11 of 19 this season against poor defensive teams which allow 106-plus points per contest.
The bottom line: With a game at Houston up next, could the Warriors be caught "looking ahead?" Very likely of course. Chicago has been playing great, but the last thing it can do is turn this one into a "track meet" and expect to "hang" with the defending champs. When you add up all the varying factors, the UNDER is indeed the savvy move in this contest.
