As note that Detroit has seen the total go UNDER the number in 14 of 19 against teams with winning records already this year and in seven of nine following a loss by ten points or more (the Pistons enter off back-to-back losses, most recently a 118-107 home loss to Charlotte), while Toronto has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of eight already this year following a divisional contest (the Raptors come in having lost three of their last four, including two straight, most recently a 117-111 setback at Philadelphia.)
The bottom line: It's an important game for both teams. We're expecting an all out war between two sides which come in hungry for a victory. When taking into account the above trends as well, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest.
