Both teams are coming off high-scoring affairs, as Seattle smashed Miami 10-5, while Oakland destroyed Texas 9-1. We're expecting a much lower-scoring pitchers duel in the opener of this three game set though.

The bottom line: Valdez hasn't pitched in the bigs since 2010, but does have plenty of experience. Paxton has arguably been the best pitcher in the league to open the season and we think comes in under the radar in this one. All signs point to a duel, play on the UNDER.
