This is an 8* play on Eastern Michigan.

When the smoke clears at the end of this one, we look for the Eagles to keep this one competitive enough to sneak in through the back door down the stretch with the large spread they've been afforded. This is for the most part a situational play against Central Michigan, which comes in having won four of its last five and which clinched bowl eligibility in a 24-17 road win vs. Kent State last week. This definitely sets up as a classic letdown spot vs. lowly Eastern Michigan in our opinion. The Eagles are a horrible team on both sides of the ball, but especially on the defensive side, while CMU sports one of the nation's better QB's in Cooper Rush who leads the 19th ranked passing offense. This is a true David vs. Goliath matchup (for the MAC anyways), but we question the focus that the Chips come in with, and in our professional opinion, that will prove to be the difference for EASTERN MICHIGAN against-the-spread.
