Point Spread: 7.00 | -105.00 Kansas City (Away)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* ASSASSIN on the Kansas City Chiefs.
We think the determined Chiefs can keep this one close enough to at the very least, sneak in through the back door down the stretch. KC is coming into this one with a chip on its shoulder after falling to rival Denver last week, holding a seven-point lead in the final minute of last Thursday's contest, the Broncos would miraculously score two TD's in the final 36 seconds: "It was pretty simple. Five turnovers, 70 yards worth of penalties, very tough to win in this league having those kind of stats," coach Andy Reid assessed afterwards. We have a hard time seeing Kansas City playing as sloppy tonight and facing a Packers team which has won ten in a row at home, including last week's extremely satisfying 27-17 win over Seattle. The Chiefs defense is vastly underrated, especially the rush which has already generated eight sacks, three from Justin Houston. And that's bad news for a Packers offensive line which will once again be without RT Bryan Bulaga for a second straight game; also note that RB Eddie Lacy an receiver Davantae Adams are game time decisions and if they do play, obviously they won't be at 100%. The Packers defense has also been brutal, surrendering 154 rushing yards per game and 5.3 per carry, both 31st in the league. Note that Kansas City is 8-5 ATS in its last 13 as an underdog and 5-3 ATS its last eight non-conference games. And note that Green Bay is just 6-7 ATS in its last 13 after two or more consecutive SU wins. Grab as many points as you can with the CHIEFS.
