This is a 10* TOP TOTAL on the UNDER Riders/Elks.
These were the two worst defensive teams in the league last year, and with each putting an added emphasis onto that side of the ball throughout the offseason, I'm expecting a very methodical, and lower-scoring affair here on Saturday afternoon.
Edmonton signed McLeod Bethel-Thompson, who will open things up offensively for the Elks, but I expect the offense to take some time to come together.
The Riders are once again leaning on QB Trevor Harris, who was injured in Week 6 last year. Saskatchewan though did sign 1,000 yard RB AJ Ouellette from Toronto.
Each team will be improved on both sides of the ball, but everything points to a tight, lower-scoring battle here in Game 1 in my opinion, so the play is the UNDER.
