I'm expecting these hungry sides to push the pace from start to finish and for this faster-paced affair to eventually eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch.
Detroit is 3-5 now after back-to-back victories, most recently a 115-103 win at home over the Lakers. Fatigue at this point of the season won't be an issue for these athletes and I expect the Pistons to duplicate their offensive performance from last night.
Charlotte is just 2-5 after a 114-93 loss at Minnesota last night. The Hornets have seen the total go UNDER in three straight, but note that Charlotte has in fact seen the total eclipse the posted number in five of its last seven dating to last year after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
With each team pushing the pace throughout like I'm suspecting, everything points to this one flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
