These teams have been playing to some high-scoring games of late, but I'm anticipating a much tighter and ultimately lower-scoring outcome here.

A great situational play on the UNDER. Minnesota has won three straight, most recently a 5-1 victory at Florida. It's gone 3-1 on its current road trip and it continues with games at Philly and Pittsburgh up next.

Minnesota has been getting the job done with fanstastic defensive play and goaltending, conceding a total of just three goals over its three-game win streak.

The Wild catch a tired Lightning team returning home after a tough three-game trip in which it went 1-2. It's off the 8-5 win at New Jersey, and despite that game flying well OVER the number, dating to last year the Bolts have still seen the total go UNDER in eight of their last 12 after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.

The overall situation, combined with the numbers/trends point to this one being a defensive affair. The play is the UNDER.
