This is an 8* SUPER TOTAL on the UNDER Avs/Sharks.

I think this one sets up to be a lower-scoring battle. I had a play on the OVER in the Sharks 8-3 loss at Winnipeg two nights ago, but I think they'll struggle to find much offensive momentum here against the Avs.

Colorado was one of the favs coming into the season once again, but an 0-4 start had the Avs faithful hitting the panic button early. They're off a 4-3 OT win over Anaheim. All five games have gone OVER the number so far for Colorado, but note that dating to last season that the Avs have seen the total go UNDER in three of their last four after playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row.

After four straight at home, Colorado now plays three on the road. The Avs have been downright bad on the defensive end this year, but they'll be looking to improve upon those numbers now against this inconsistent Sharks offense.
