Seattle is now two games back of the final wildcard in the AL after dropping the first two games of this series. Here's a great spot for us to take advantage of though, as with their victory last night, the Yanks have finally clinched an AL playoff spot.

That's huge for New York, which is expected to make the playoffs every year but missed out last season.

Clarke Schmidt has been great for New York, but I'm still giving the slight nod to Logan Gilbert at home.

With a "cream puff" series up next in Oakland, I say the visitors get caught "looking ahead."
